Overview - Available in grey and black, RadiArmor’s unisex EMF-blocking knit beanie features a breathable liner made of pure silver woven fibers, designed to block over 99.9% of high-frequency RF and millimeter wave radiation commonly associated with WiFi, cellular networks, and 5G communication. While the material itself blocks over 99.9%, the average reduction to the user’s head when worn correctly is approximately 90%.
Designed with Integrity - Many EMF protection products claim 99% reduction, but most refer only to the shielding material itself—not the actual protection received by the user. Wearing an EMF-blocking pendant offers as much protection as a waterproof pendant would in the rain—virtually none. At RadiArmor, we focus on creating scientifically backed EMF protection products that provide real protection, not just misleading claims.
Sizing & Care - The outer material is made of plush core-spun yarn, offering warmth, breathability, and a flexible fit to accommodate most head sizes. The inner liner is made of real silver fabric, which is naturally hypoallergenic, antibacterial and odor-resistant, requiring minimal washing. If necessary, please hand wash only in cold water and hang dry (Do not tumble dry or use bleach). Silver may changes color over time, but this does not affect its EMF shielding capabilities.
How to Test Your Hat - To accurately measure the EMF-blocking effectiveness of your hat:
-
- Use an EMF meter that measures high-frequency RF or microwave radiation—the type emitted by cell phone towers, WiFi, and 5G.
- Compare readings in an environment with strong RF exposure (e.g., near a cell tower or WiFi router).
- Measure background levels, then take a reading inside the hat to see the reduction.
Note: Many EMF meters measure different types of electromagnetic fields. This hat is specifically designed to block high-frequency RF radiation—the type most commonly linked to potential health risks in scientific studies. This hat does not block low-frequency magnetic fields measured in milligauss (mG).
