Our Technology

Science-Backed Protection You Can Trust

At RadiArmor, we believe protection should be grounded in real science — not hype.
Since 2012, our mission has been simple: create thoughtfully designed products that help reduce everyday RF exposure while maintaining the usability and convenience modern life demands.

RadiArmor Shield™

The Foundation of Every RadiArmor Product

RadiArmor Shield™ is our proprietary RF-blocking material system engineered to help reduce exposure from common wireless technologies including WiFi, Bluetooth, and cellular signals.

Unlike many off-the-shelf shielding fabrics, RadiArmor Shield™ materials are selected and engineered for real-world performance — balancing effective shielding with flexibility, breathability, and everyday usability.

Today, RadiArmor uses multiple specialized shielding fabrics depending on the application, allowing us to optimize performance across different product categories while maintaining consistent protection standards.

From phone sleeves and hats to our patent-pending headphone covers, RadiArmor Shield™ is designed to deliver practical, measurable protection that fits naturally into daily life.

How RF Shielding Works

Wireless devices such as smartphones, routers, and Bluetooth accessories communicate by transmitting radio-frequency (RF) signals through the air. These signals are a form of electromagnetic energy that spreads outward from the transmitting device.

RF shielding works by introducing conductive materials between the source of the signal and the area you want to protect.

When RF energy encounters a conductive shielding layer, two important things happen:

  1. Reflection – A portion of the RF signal is reflected away from the shielded area.

  2. Absorption – Some of the remaining energy is absorbed and dissipated within the shielding material.

Together, these effects significantly reduce the amount of RF energy that continues through the material.

RadiArmor Shield™ incorporates conductive materials such as silver into a fabric layer. These conductive fibers create a highly effective RF barrier while remaining flexible and breathable for everyday use.

When properly positioned between a wireless device and the user, this shielding layer can help reduce RF exposure in the direction of the body while still allowing devices to function normally.

This directional reduction approach is the foundation of many RadiArmor designs.

Independently Tested Performance

Verified by Accredited Third-Party Laboratories

At RadiArmor, every product is designed with real-world protection in mind. We conduct extensive internal testing to evaluate how our shielding materials perform in everyday environments where wireless devices are commonly used.

In addition, all RadiArmor Shield™ materials are independently tested by accredited laboratories to verify their RF shielding performance.

Our primary shielding fabric has been tested by Keystone Compliance Laboratories, demonstrating:

• Greater than 99% RF reduction from 600 MHz to 8.8 GHz, covering most common wireless frequencies including WiFi, Bluetooth, and cellular signals (including 5G mid-band)

• Greater than 98% RF reduction at millimeter wave frequencies (26, 28, and 39 GHz) used in certain high-density 5G networks

To better simulate real-world usage, some finished products are also evaluated as complete systems rather than just raw material.

For example, our patent-pending RF-blocking headphone covers were tested by RF Exposure Lab, a recognized leader in real-world RF exposure testing who contributed to the development of the testing methodology used for SAR (Specific Absorption Rate) standards applied to devices such as smartphones by the FCC.

Testing results for the headphone covers showed:

• 98.0% RF reduction at 2402 MHz
• 97.6% RF reduction at 2441 MHz
• 98.6% RF reduction at 2480 MHz

These frequencies represent the primary Bluetooth transmission bands used by wireless headphones and other Bluetooth devices.

We believe independent verification is essential for building trust, and RadiArmor remains committed to transparency in how our products are tested and evaluated.

Designed for Real-World Use

Protection Without Compromising Usability

One of the biggest challenges in RF protection is translating material performance into real-world effectiveness.

RadiArmor products are engineered with practical use in mind — ensuring that shielding materials are applied in ways that meaningfully reduce exposure while preserving comfort, style, and functionality.

Rather than relying on gimmicks or exaggerated claims, we focus on thoughtful product design, appropriate material placement, and real-world testing to ensure our products perform as intended.

Innovation and Intellectual Property

Patent Pending Technology

RadiArmor innovations are protected by patent-pending designs developed through years of material research and product engineering.

Our goal is not only to create better products today, but to continue advancing the science and design of practical RF protection for the future.

As wireless technologies evolve, we remain committed to refining our materials, expanding testing, and developing new solutions that meet the needs of modern families.

Built on Science. Designed for Everyday Life.

At RadiArmor, we know that modern connectivity is essential. By combining independent testing, patent-pending engineering innovations, and transparent communication, we strive to create products that offer meaningful protection without sacrificing the convenience of modern living.
