Overview
We built a unisex hat that actually stops radiation. Inside is a breathable liner made of woven silver fibers that blocks over 99% of high-frequency RF and millimeter-wave radiation. That includes the stuff coming from WiFi, cell towers, and 5G.

Our breathable silver fabric blocks 99.9% of high-frequency RF in a controlled laboratory setting. But what happens when you put it on your head? In the real world, the average reduction inside the hat is about 90%.
Why the difference?
Think of RF radiation like light from a flashlight. If a tower is off to the side, some of that "light" bounces up from the ground or a wall and enters from underneath the brim. This hat protects your head, not your entire body. Unless you plan on walking around inside a fully sealed metal box, you can't block 100% of everything.

Sizing: This is a unisex design with an adjustable strap. It fits most heads comfortably, but if you usually buy XL hats, it might be a tight squeeze.

Care: Silver is naturally antibacterial, hypoallergenic, and odor-resistant. It rarely needs a wash. If you absolutely must clean it, hand wash and hang dry only. The silver will naturally tarnish and change color over time. Don't worry—that's just chemistry, and it won't lower the 99% shielding performance one bit.
How to Test Your Hat
If you want to test this at home with an RF meter, you have to do it right.

Get the right meter: Use an RF meter that measures high-frequency microwave radiation (WiFi, cell signals, 5G).

Find a hot spot: Stand near a WiFi router or a window facing a cell tower so your meter gets a strong baseline reading.

Measure inside: Place the meter's sensor completely inside the hat to see the drop.
Quick note: This hat does not block low-frequency magnetic fields (measured in milligauss or mG) from things like power lines or breaker boxes. It is specifically engineered to shield against wireless communication frequencies.

Yes. The white material is just a stiffener to keep the crown of the cap looking sharp. The woven silver fabric runs directly underneath it.

Because wireless signals don't just drop straight down from the sky. They travel horizontally and bounce off surfaces. Since we didn't design this to cover your face, some ambient radiation will always find its way around the open bottom. Companies that promise 99% total body protection from a baseball cap are lying to you.

No. Standard 2.4 GHz WiFi and Bluetooth signals have a physical wavelength of about 12.5 cm. Cell signals can be even larger. Because the waves are physically much bigger than the tiny ventilation holes, they do not lower your protection.
